Indymac Bancorp files Bankruptcy - How Does this Affect Us?

For all homeowners that are working on a loan modification or will be soon, don't let this news stop you. According to Indymac Bank and their negotiators Friday 8/1/2008, it has no affect on the loss mitigation department as OUR loans are serviced by Indymac Federal Bank.

Is this possible or are they lying? I just called IndyMac (800-781-7399) about a loan mod and the rep said that IndyMac isn't offering ANY loan mods to ANYone in the entire country under ANY situation?!

I've been making my neg amort payments every month and my house is upside down by like 100k, so I was hoping for some relief.. None in sight.

They are modifying loans. The number you called is their generic loss mitigation department. They are not helpful. Check out our forum at www.sequoiaconsultinggroup.com to get direct numbers and emails for the SVP of Loss Mitigation as well as negotiators. Look under "Indymac Loan Mod". If you would like a FREE consultation, please call 800-521-2877.
